Ancelotti became the most successful Real Madrid manager in history as he won his 15th title, thereby surpassing club legend Miguel Munoz's tally. The Spanish champions thrashed Liga MX side Pachuca 3-0 in the final of the inaugural Intercontinental Cup on Wednesday courtesy of goals from Kylian Mbappe, Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr.

This was Real Madrid's fifth trophy of the 2024 calendar year and after winning the Intercontinental Cup, the Italian coach was on cloud nine. When asked about the most memorable titles he had won at Santiago Bernabeu, the 65-year-old picked La Decima from his first stint and the Champions League win over Liverpool in 2022.

Speaking to reporters in his post-match press conference, the Madrid boss said: "It's difficult to say, but the La Decima was special for me and for Madrid. Also, the Champions League win in Paris. If I had to choose, it was these two."
