Indeed, when the striker took to social media following Sunday’s 4-2 win over Huddersfield, the response section was full of West Brom supporters lavishing praise on the former non-league star.
And it is worth remembering that he is off the mark for his new club having netted against Millwall in the EFL Cup on August 13.
